BDSM VS Vanilla

Today we seem to be a disposable society, when things get tough instead of fixing the problems or we think the grass is greener on the other side, we just pack up and move on. This seems to be the easy way out, kinda like Ostrich politics. Stick our head in the sand and it will go away and fix its self.

One of the major problems is the lack of communication, if you think about it the average conversation through out the week is about 30 minutes and this includes, “Pass the salt.”

So lets just say fuck it, and throw everything away, be it months or years invested in the relationship, or the husband thinks the ass next door is better, or vice versa.

The lack of communication is the number one killer in most relationships, more so sex, either the husband wants things the wife will not do, which he knew this before hand, or there are things the wife wants, but she is to shy or ashamed to bring a subject up.

Now a BDSM relationship runs much different, a fine oiled machine. We take a much closer look when considering a partner, for a couple of reasons. One is finding someone who is truly compatible in the lifestyle. Second there is an open line of communication which in any relationship, expand  is the base.

Being able to speak on any subject you can think of, and not worry about being judged. Unlike a vanilla relationship, We talk about what each others needs are, what is expected of both, Dominant and Submissive. Going into the relationship both know already what each expects. Both know that there is an Alpha and a Beta, this is the greatest understanding.

A  D’s couple allows room for growth, expand, push limits, set time aside to speak of any issues that may come up. Just general conversation, which is the base of the relationship.

Loyalty seems to be more of a stable factor, I believe again that this falls under communication, the sexual openness.

I am not here to say that a D’s relationship is perfect, as with any relationship it takes work.

Do some research before judging someone in the lifestyle, it does have many advantages.
